Is there anything that I need to know before attending a yoga class at Prem Yoga & Ayurveda Center?
Yoga is not just stretching or a fantastic workout. It is a practice for increasing self awareness, correcting posture problems, reducing tension, & stress. Please take steps to observe traditional yoga etiquette to ensure that you respect other people and will have the opportunity realize your full potential through yoga practices and ayurveda therapies.
Please be on time. This gives respect to your classmates and instructor and provides you with the right amount of time to enjoy your session.
Dress appropriately. Wear loose and comfortable clothing.
High-quality yoga mats and any props needed will be provided; no need to bring mats or equipment. Feel free to bring a towel if you would like one.
Please turn off your cell phone during the class to avoid disturbance.
Pay attention to the instructor so that you derive the maximum benefit from the class. The instructor provide suggestions for you to practice at home. These are not requirements but will most likely provide health benefits and value if you choose to follow their advice.
Please observe the validity of your class membership strictly so as to complete the classes within the allotted time frame. Extensions will not be permitted.
Please note that your membership cannot be transferred to anyone else.
Is there anything that I need to know before going Prem Yoga & Ayurveda Center for a treatment?
Ayurveda is the sacred, holistic life science of India that embraces the study of mind, body, behavior, environment and religion. Whether or not you are familiar with Ayurvedic treatments and practices, please come in with an open mind, ready to learn and receive new information.

If the practioner provides suggestions for you at home, especially during an Ayurveda Consultation, these are not requirements but will most likely provide health benefits and value if you choose to follow their advice.
Do I need a medical check before I start?
When beginning any exercise program, please consult with your doctor to ensure that the program is compatible with any existing medical conditions. Please also let your yoga instructor or ayurveda practitioner know about any specific health conditions or problem areas in the body.
Will yoga help me lose weight?
The most important part of weight loss is a commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Yoga will definitely help you burn calories, tone your muscles, and improve your posture. Incorporating yoga into your life will cause you to want to eat and live better. Yoga is about healthy living, which includes exercising, healthy eating, getting regular sleep and relaxation. If you plan to make yoga your primary form of exercise, ti is recommended to do a vigorous 90-minute yoga class at least three times a week.
I am recovering from an injury, will yoga help?
Yoga is a restorative practice that can help the body to heal and become stronger. Be sure to tell your instructor at the start of class about your condition and they will be sure to give you modifications and variations so that your yoga practice will assist in your recovery. Remember to work at your own pace and don’t do anything that doesn’t feel right for your body.
Why do instructors offer hands-on adjustments?
Traditionally, instructors will walk around the room and may adjust your position in a pose to help with proper alignment and to enhance the benefits of the poses. It is not to “correct” you but to assist you in experiencing the pose in a deeper and/or safer way. If you prefer not to be assisted in this way then just mention your preference to the instructor either before or during the class.
How do I book a class?
You may book your first or trial yoga class by contacting us in various ways, using our contact form or booking button on the website, calling, messaging on WhatsApp or Facebook or alternatively email us at info@premyogprana.com. We will be happy to book your class and provide you with all the information you need to be prepared.
How do I cancel a class or treatment?
Please follow the same procedure as when booking, should you need to cancel a scheduled class or treatment. We appreciate if you could take the time to do this to be respectful of the instructors and practitioners at Prem Yoga & Ayurveda Center.
Can we buy tea or water at the center after our class?
Complimentary, nourishing herbal tea that is freshly made at the center, is available at all times. Water is also complimentary and always available! Those who would like to take a few minutes before or after class to catch up with friends or make new friends at our center, are most welcome to help themselves to the tea and water and make themselves at home. There are also magazines & books available for browsing in our waiting area. We also welcome you to look around our small shop of Ayurvedic and health products available for purchase.
How convenient is it to get to the Yoga Center?
The Prem Yog and Ayurveda Center is centrally located on Sukhumvit Soi 26, in a pleasant residential area. The nearest BTS station is Phrom Phong, about a 10-min walk or short distance away by motorcycle.

Do I have to go to Prem Yoga & Ayurveda Center to attend classes, treatments, events, workshops or courses?
While some treatments, events and workshops are better attended in person some of our offerings are available online from anywhere in the world. Please contact us if you are interested in attending anything virtually.
If I have to travel somewhere or am unwell, what happens to the unused classes if the validity expires at that time?
Good question. We understand that these things happen, and we would be happy to give you two classes beyond your validity date.
Can I gift a yoga class, package, Ayurveda treatment, healing therpy, workshop or course to a friend or colleague? If so, what is the best way of doing this?
Prem Yoga and Ayurveda Center has gift vouchers in any denomination which can be used for a yoga class or any Ayurveda treatment or Healing Therapy available at the center. These vouchers are available at the Center, or could be mailed to you or even emailed after the payment has been made.
