My job is easy. Sitting at a desk convincing my friends and customers to buy a yoga package to improve their health is not difficult to do. They have joined the yoga classes and seen a marked improvement in their health under the guidance of our experienced teachers whose passion and dedication have made Prem Yoga a household name in Bangkok.
Having said that, the difficult part for me has been to get off my chair and onto the yoga mat! Convincing others to do yoga was easy but practicing it myself was the difficult part. However a desperation to find a cure for my perennial sinus problem made me try the Pranayama breathing classes at the center.
Just sit there and breathe... That sounded easy enough right? Wrong! The first few classes were an endurance test to try and breathe deeply without sniffling. I almost gave up so as not to disturb my students but the gentle souls convinced me every time to sit and complete the class. Soon my health improved, my sinus cleared and I could breathe freely. What a delight that was!
I started working out regularly and realized how I have progressed from being an impatient and easily stressed out person to becoming a calmer and more balanced person. I realized that my Workout was actually a Work In.
Like I said, my job is easy. Convincing people to do something that is beneficial for them, because I have seen the benefits for myself now, is easy.
